Oh, Baby: Hope gave birth to a girl

named Beth but her attending physician,

Dr. Reese Buckingham, needed to pay

off loan sharks threatening his daughter,

Forrester model Zoe. He swapped out Beth

for a deceased infant, enlisted the aid of

his Vegas blackjack dealer, Flo, to pretend

to be the birth mother, and sold the child

in an illegal adoption. Taylor funded the

transaction so her daughter, Steffy, could

have a sister for her own baby Kelly, who

together. Enter Steffy’s brother, Thomas,

who lost his baby mama, Caroline, and

was now a single dad to their boy, Douglas.

Thomas, who was previously smitten with

Hope, saw this as the perfect opportunity to

give Douglas a new mommy. Capitalizing

on Hope’s vulnerability, Thomas manipu-

lated Hope into marrying him so she could

be mom to his son. They wed, despite the

fact that her heart was with Liam. After

B&B, created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, celebrated

its 32nd anniversary on March 23. Their son, Bradley Bell,
