romance has been a tough sell to some
because they were both new faces a year
ago. Not only does marrying them off seem
premature, but for murky reasons, Theo is
determined to blow up Kyle’s happiness with
(an underage girl got dangerously drunk at
one of their New York parties and her father
blackmailed Kyle over it) fell flat. And of all
the actors who were jettisoned in the last
few months, we’re sorriest to see Loren Lott
go; she added zest and interest to the role of
Devon’s little sister, Ana, and had star quality
to bolster that generation again.

Ghost Story:pals. And please have Chloe give up
her vendetta against Adam so she can
be healthy and happy — at least for a
while — with Kevin.
Ghost stories have always been
tough sells on soaps, and Billy believ-
ing that his dead daughter, Delia, is
trying to contact him hasn’t grabbed our
attention. Still, Thompson is downright
mesmerizing in playing Billy’s
inability to deal with his grief.
Lauren, Chris, Traci and Jill
have been more visible but we’d
like to see them with heavier mate-
rial. And for heaven’s sake, bring
back Gloria already!
