PARENT TRAP
After Kyle and Lola
exchange vows, Celeste
spies Lola’s father, Adri-
an, who has arrived unin-
vited. Not wanting to ruin
her daughter’s special day,
Celeste angrily demands
that Adrian leave. When
Celeste is unsuccessful,
Rey and a visiting Arturo
put their differences aside
to eject Adrian, who still
refuses to go away. Lola
notices the commotion
and is shocked to see
her father. She asks to
speak with him alone, so
her brothers back down.
Adrian apologizes for be-
ing an absentee parent and
asks to stay for the recep-
tion, which Lola allows,
although she keeps him at
arm’s length.

THE UNINVITED
Theo crashes the wed-
ding reception with a date
in tow. Kyle is shaken
when he recognizes
Theo’s plus-one as Zoe,

the underage girl they
had taken to a hospital in
New York City. Kyle is
furious but Theo explains
he brought Zoe to prove
that Kyle doesn’t have to
worry about her any-
more. Kyle dismisses
Theo’s excuse, then
throws him and Zoe out
of the reception. As Theo
leaves, Phyllis makes
him promise to fill her in
about Zoe.
Nate steps in to save
Abby from an awkward
conversation with Arturo.
Lola tosses the bouquet,
which ends up in Mari-
ah’s possession. When
the festivities conclude,
the newlyweds leave
for their honeymoon in
Samoa.
