Theinspectionrevealedsignificantdamagetobothright

bankpistonsandenoughmeltedaluminiumtoweldthe

sparkplugelectrodestogether!

Althoughanexactcausewasunabletobecompletely

settled,thebettingwaslookinglikea detonationissue.

Motorracingisa toughbusinessespeciallywhenit is

remoteandthebudgetislimited.BalingTwineRacingis,like

manyteamscompeting,largelyself-fundedsupplemented

witha mixofsomecashandin-kindhelpfromdedicated

localsponsorswhosharethevision.

Inmotorsport,resourcesorlackofthemcanimposefinite

limitsontestinganddevelopment,despitethebestintentions

ofthoseinvolved.

becauseSod’slawsaysthatMurphywouldn’tmaketheendof

theweek.Sodfor 2019 wasalsoa 1500ccAlfasudenginewith
