CARDBOARD DROP CLOTH

Most of our cardboard boxes end up in our recycling bin, but
I always make sure to save a couple of the larger ones.
They’re perfect for keeping my clothes clean when I crawl
under the car. Stored flat, they don’t take up much room.

Fix for Paint Spills on Carpet

I used to think dropping a loaded paintbrush on the carpet meant replacing the carpet ... until a carpet pro told
me this little tip. Pour some denatured alcohol on a rag and scrub away the paint. Use a white rag (or one similar
in color to the carpet) so the alcohol doesn’t transfer unwanted dye to the carpet.

FASTER FILING
WITH LESS CLOGGING
When you use metal files on soft, nonferrous
metals such as aluminum or brass, the teeth clog
quickly. This means frequent cleaning with a file
card. To keep the teeth from getting clogged,
try this old trick: Rub a piece of chalk along the
teeth before using the file on the workpiece.
