ctress Jane Leeves has
a lot to be thankful
for: a happy 22-year
marriage, two healthy
kids, a great career
and friends like her
former Hot in Cleveland co-star Betty
White. “She taught me everything about
gratitude. She’s had some tragedy in
her life, but she doesn’t look on it as a
tragedy,” Jane says, referring to the death
of Betty’s beloved husband, game show
host Allen Ludden, in 1981. “Betty looks
on it as positive because she had the love
of her life. Some people don’t get that.”
Jane, 58, has tried to take these lessons
to heart in the way she sees the world.
“With age comes wisdom. I don’t sweat
the small stuff anymore,” she told Closer
at the Fox Summer TCA All-Star Party.
“And with every setback, you learn to be
grateful for everything you have.”
