The Airix Mustang is hard to fault- packed full of detail, easy to build and accurate. Job done. Add a few
extras and you can have a real show stopper of a model. This is one of those kits that you just want to
build again – in fact I’ve already got another on the go already!1:48
The wheels are a bit odd – they don’t seem to fit at the correct angle for the flattened contact spots
to touch the ground. I removed the locating lugs and glued the wheels directly to the hubs, this
allowed me to rotate them to the correct position.
Almost there – the model is ready for its final finish and then the gun bay detailing.
