Painting and Weathering

used the ‘Russian Dark Base’ 931 to paint the
shaded areas of the vehicle, then gave the
entire vehicle several thin and even coats
of the ‘Russian Base’ 932. Finally, I used the
‘Russian High Lights’ 934 colour to paint
the upper surfaces. I then applied ‘Dark
Tracks’ 035 to paint the running gear. Once
happy with the tonal variations across the
vehicle, I moved onto the weathering. I used
thinned Ammo by MIG Light Rust Wash to
cover the tracks. This settled in the corners
and creases nicely to provide a mild rusty
