Bournemouth Air Festival
Action in the sky, on the ground and
on the water awaits visitors to the
‘UK’s biggest air festival’ on the
Dorset coast. There will also be plenty
of night-time entertainment along the
1.4 miles of promenade between
Boscombe and Bournemouth piers,
including a firework display. The
temporary site at St Peter’s School
in Southbourne is a short walk from
Southbourne beach, an ideal location
from which to watch the action.

Southport Air Show
Head for Southport seafront where
aerobatics, historical aircraft and fast
jets will entice you to look up at the
skies, and military vehicles, a helter
skelter, trampolines, inflatatable
assault course and more will keep you
and your family entertained on the
ground. Or you could just sit back and
enjoy all the action in the air from the
comfort of your pitch on the nearby
temporary site.

Kop Hill Climb
A must for motorsport enthusiasts,
the Kop Hill Climb at Princes
Risborough, Buckinghamshire,
celebrates its 10th anniversary this
year. Watch more than 250 cars
and bikes from all eras make their
way up the famous hill climb. You
can also gain a close-up view of the
vehicles in the paddock, see
hand-built karts competing in the
Soapbox Challenge, listen to live
music, browse the trade stands and
enjoy hot food and a beer tent. The
temporary site is within walking
distance of the event – there
are no toilet facilities nor hook-ups.

Sywell Classic: Pistons & Props
Historic cars and motorbikes,
classic planes and vintage music
combine to create an extravaganza
at Sywell Aerodrome in Northampton.
On the ground, watch iconic
F1 cars, hot rods, dragsters and
motorbikes in action, then look up to
the skies to see breathtaking aerial
displays and acrobatics. Add live
music, a vintage fun fair and a
shopping village into the mix,
and there is something for
everyone. The temporary site on
the aerodrome boasts toilet blocks
and hook-ups.

The Royal County of
Berkshire Show
Held at Newbury Showground, this
traditional county show gives you the
chance to see a variety of livestock.
You will also find a craft tent, a food
fayre, a vast array of trade stands and
lots of ‘Have-a-Go’ activities for the
whole family to try – from an assault
course and crazy golf to circus skills
and archery. Horse lovers will, er, love
the equine section, while the event
will showcase a variety of rural
working crafts. The temporary site is
within walking distance of the show.

Elite cycling comes to Yorkshire for the
92nd UCI Road World Championships.
See the sport’s biggest names
compete in time trials and road races.

to Yorkshire in September
Starting in Leeds, the 284.5km men’s
road race will evoke memories of the
epic opening stage of the 2014 Tour de
France. The riders will tackle iconic
climbs like Buttertubs Pass and Grinton
Moor, before completing seven laps of
a circuit in Harrogate and crossing the
line on The Stray. Ripon, Northallerton,
Richmond and Doncaster will also host
starts of races. The temporary site is at
Knaresborough – a £5 deposit will
secure your pitch.
