LA BELLA VISTA (E06)

This modern campsite offers excellent facilities, including a shop,

r e s t a u r a n t a n d s w i m m i n g p o o l , a s w e l l a s d i r e c t a c c e s s t o a c l e a n b e a c h.

The Costa Del Sol is renowned for its golf, horse riding and water sports,

while daytrippers may be attracted to Gibraltar (40 minutes by car). The

fine, sandy stretches of Marbella are also within easy reach, while Cádiz

• home to attractions such as the Castillo San Sebastián and an
  18th-century Baroque cathedral – is just an hour and a half away.

LES ORMES, DOMAINE AND RESORT (B08)

Set within the grounds of the Château des Ormes, Les Ormes has everything

you need for a great break, including the new covered ‘Dome’ swimming area,

a supermarket, spa, three restaurants and two bars. Visitors also have access

to golf, fishing and horse riding facilities (fees apply). There are some fantastic

places to visit nearby, including iconic Mont Saint-Michel (45 minutes), the

historic city of Dol-de-Bretagne and Mont Dol, where legend has it that Saint

Michael fought off Satan (15 minutes), and the atmospheric town of Dinan

(35 minutes) with its ramparts, half-timbered houses and cobbled streets.

SÃO PEDRO DE MOEL (W18)

Set in a pine wood, within a few minutes’ walk of a sandy beach,

São Pedro de Moel is a fantastic base for exploring central

P o r t u g a l. T h e n e a r b y t o w n o f t h e s a m e n a m e i s h o m e t o

n u m e r o u s s h o p s , b a r s a n d r e s t a u r a n t s , w h i l e , a l i t t l e f u r t h e r

inland, Marinha Grande (15 minutes by car) is home to a famous

glass museum. Leiria (30 minutes by car), with its beautiful

16th-century cathedral, is also great for a day trip.

VILLAGIO DEI FIORI (Y18)

Perched on the Mediterranean coast is Villagio dei Fiori, an idyllic

site boasting its own filtered seawater pools, a private beach and

restaurant serving local specialities and takeaway pizzas. The old town

of Sanremo is a 30-minute walk (or 10-minute bike ride) away, while

fans of two-wheeled adventures will be pleased to learn a 24km-long

coastal cycle route is within easy reach. The delights of the French

Riviera are also close by – Nice, for example, is less than an hour’s

drive from the site.
