Aaron’s S14 rocks the most serious power plant of the trio. A
2.2 stroker SR, the package uses Wiseco pistons, Manley rods, and ARP
hardware, while the head has been ported and uses custom cams. The
turbo is a BorgWarner S365, which boosts to 18psi to make 395kW

first drift-school day, with a 180SX Type X, an S15 Silvia, and an
S14 Silvia Kouki, respectively. True to form, and in a tradition that
continues to this day, the three congregated the night before for
a pep talk, getting revved up on drift videos in pursuit of a few
tips and tricks. In that instance, Kieran recalls, it was the famous
Drift Bible DVD.
Ten years later, the cars might have changed, but the
camaraderie hasn’t. Drifting is one of those pursuits founded on
community, especially in the relatively small Kiwi scene. It’s about
helping the guy in the next pit, creating memories with close
mates, all the while stamping your own flavour on both car and
driving style.
‘Team Produced 732’ stands for just that: 7, 3, and 2 are the
first three digits of a Reefton phone number; ‘Team Produced’
— well, simply put, it means that the team is ‘made in Reefton’.
It’s regional pride not restricted to the three main offenders but
shared by everyone who experienced their journey growing up on
the Coast.
