hair is sleek and
smooth as Salem’s
Sarah Horton, but
that’s not how she
arrives at the DAYS
studio in the morning.
“I have curly hair and usually air-dry it,” notes the actress. “When I come
to work they’ll straighten it with a curling iron or something.”
On days when she’s not working, Godfrey always wears her hair curly.
“It sounds so silly, but I actually don’t feel super-pretty with straight hair,”
says Godfrey. “I like my curly hair. It makes me feel like me. I feel like I
look like I’m supposed to look when my hair is big and messy. I don’t wear
a lot of makeup outside the show, either. That’s where I feel the prettiest.”
To get the curly locks she craves, Godfrey uses DevaCurl Ultra Defining
Gel. “I put that in my hair and then use a diffuser [to dry it],” explains
Godfrey. “Then I go through it, and if there are any curls that are a little
insane, I’ll fix a couple here and there. I usually have to fix a few front pieces
with a curling iron. That’s kind of it. It’s really quick. Then I don’t have to do
it again for a few days.”
As for how she handles her fresh-out-of-bed hair, Godfrey says, “I wake up and just
kind of shake my head. From sleeping, if some pieces have fallen, I’ll go back and fix
them with a curling iron.”

QB&B’s Denise Richards (Shauna) loves the hot colors
for summer. “I love all the neon colors right now,” the actress
enthuses. “Especially neon pink, because it really makes a
tan stand out!”
