and alfresco suppers, the Babylon Bar has
become as synonymous for its LFW after-parties,
as for its fashion-themed cocktail list.
The Met Bar
With limited edition designer-
inspired cocktails like Mary Mary
Quite Contrary (Mary Katrantzou)
and Tempered Lips (Alice
Temperley), this is set to be the
watering hole for LFW.

their high heels; the nutrient-

FAVOURITE RESTAURANT:
Breakfast at Granger or Rochelle
Canteen. Then Nama for a
healthy raw and vegan lunch and
Pizza East for the opposite. If it’s
a sunny Sunday, it’s always The
River Café for lunch, followed
by the delicious and super-cool
Andina for dinner, or the unbeatable Scott’s.
WHERE TO STAY: I live in London but I go
to the Chiltern Firehouse for the fun, the
restaurant, and the vibe, or to Dean Street
Town House for the food and to be in Soho.

FAV O U R I T E S

HARRODS’ SHOE HEAVEN IS...
Charlotte Olympia: A dream destination
for all shoe lovers.
Nicholas Kirkwood: In an amazing
destination. Harrods was also my
very fi rst stockist, so I’m excited
to design an exclusive shoe to
help celebrate.
Rupert Sanderson: It is the
highest shoe department in the
whole of London, so it’s
closest to heaven!
MY SILVER LINING SHOE IS...
CO: Inspired by the phrase
‘Every cloud has a silver lining’,
I created a platform sandal and
these kitty fl ats with rainbow embroidery.
NK: I created dark glamour using black
lace veiling metallic mesh, which reveals
itself when the light catches
the shoe at the right angle.
I think the structure and
unexpected opulence will
appeal to Middle Eastern
women.
RS: It coincides with the
fantastic reworking of our
iconic Estelle sandal with
never-seen-before netting.
The mesh adds a layer of
sexiness and the silver goes
with anything.
MY SHOE HEAVEN IS:
CO: Being able to design the shoes of my
dreams – in every colour!
NK: A place where I can sit back on a
cloud and winged cherubs bring you
shoes which fi t like a glove.
RS: Form and function. A shoe with
a beautiful silhouette married
with something a woman can
wear. Heavenly!
IF I COULD WALK IN
SOMEONE’S SHOES...
CO: I wouldn’t mind
dancing in Ginger
Rogers’ shoes!
NK: Salvador Dali.

BEST
BARS:
Shoreditch
House,
because it
has this cool
energy,
bowling,
billiards, and
ties are not allowed!
BEST PLACE FOR PEOPLE
WATCHING: Chiltern Firehouse,
as even without Fashion Week, it’s
the place to be.
FAVOURITE SHOPS: Bluebird in
Chelsea for its diversity, Duke Street
Emporium for snacking and
shopping, Another Country for
furniture, Canyon Juicery for
delicious drinks, and Selfridges, because it
makes me happy.
LFW ESSENTIALS: A vitamin course to
boost my energy and my iPad Mini – I keep
all the pictures of my showroom selection on
it, as well as my playlist to disconnect.
FAIL-SAFE LFW OUTFIT: Something
that doesn’t need me to think: R13 denim,
my Golden Goose tennis shoes, a Céline
sweater, a colourful coat, Luis Morais
beads and Spektre shades.
LFW IS: My favourite, because it always
has new and interesting designers to watch
and I discover new places every time.
