Da Giacomo
This remains the place where everybody goes to
refuel during Fashion Week; if you want to see
and be seen, dine here.
Cracco-Peck
Serious food and serious wine at
serious prices for the industry’s
more serious gastronomes.
Ceresio 7
This super-cool restaurant is a
new fashion week fave. Owned
by Dsquared 2 ’s Dan and Dean, it
sits on top of a building with two terrace pools
and stunning 360 views of Milan.

FOCUS
WHERE TO STAY: Every time
I’m in Milan I stay at the Bulgari
Hotel. It is one of my favourite
hotels in the world; central yet
isolated and the modern décor
is refreshing.
BEST PLACE FOR PEOPLE
WATCHING: The lobby
café and terrace of the
Bulgari Hotel is always
amazing for people
watching; it’s a mixture
of stylish people and
overdressed characters,
which is always interesting
to witness.
FAVOURITE SHOPS: 10
Corso Como and Antonia;
for some reason they don’t
sell out of the best styles
like they do in Paris and
Dubai, and they’re great
for getting that Céline bag
that’s not available
anywhere else.
WHAT TO BUY IN
MILAN: It’s the Italian
brands which have their
fl agship stores in the city that
offer an exclusive collection of
pieces that aren’t available
elsewhere, such as Moschino,
Missoni and Fendi.
FAVE MILAN MEMORY: I can’t
pinpoint one memory in Milan; it’s very
chilled, unlike Paris, so all of my memories
involve good food, great shopping and
amazing people.
HOW TO UNWIND: I go to Club 10
at Hotel Principe Di
Savoia; not only is it
stunning and a
fantastic place to get
away from it all, but
its organic facials are
fabulous.
SECRET SPOT:
There’s an American

Bar Basso
If you’re looking for Milan’s local fashion
crowd, Bar Basso’s terrace is where
they’ll be, chinking cocktail glasses.
Bar Martini
at Dolce & Gabbana
As if you’d expect anything less, this bar boasts
one of the most sophisticated interiors, drinks
lists and clienteles around.
WHE R E
TO DR INK
Put together a
showstopping
ensemble
Corso Como that is so quaint
and where you can have a bagel
or cupcake. I love Italian food
but sometimes a girl needs
a Red Velvet cupcake to get
her through the day.
MFW ESSENTIALS:
When in Milan I do
a mixture of private
appointments as well as fabric
scouting, so a sketch book and
look books are essential. I always
make sure to bring
my camera in case
I see something
inspiring, and I also
always carry hand
sanitizer.
BEAUTY MUST-
HAVES: Laura Mercier Tinted
Moisturiser, MAC Lipstick in
Cyber (it really makes an impact),
Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Eye De-Puffer,
and Givenchy’s
Eaudemoiselle Bois
De Oud.
FAIL-SAFE MFW OUTFIT:
I’m usually in American Apparel
‘Disco Pants’, a Givenchy
printed Tee, Céline coat and a
Balenciaga Bag – usually all black.
MFW IS... Alive.
RELAXATION TIP: Plan your days. Allocate
times for everything, book all your restaurants
in advance and schedule specifi c timings for
relaxation because it will not happen
naturally. The hair salons in Milan take hours
for basic treatments, so
that is where I usually
get to unwind.
SURVIVAL TIPS:
Get a driver! You will
save so much time
waiting around, and
will actually be able to
do everything you need
to, without wasting
precious time.
