1966 년 11월, 월간 ‘空間’,

사라져가는 한국문화의 흔적을 기록하기 시작했다.

1994 년 7월, 우리의 문화와 예술을 세계에 알리기 위해

국영문 혼용판으로 전환했고

1997 년 제호를 월간 ‘SPACE’로 변경하며

건축을 담론의 중심에 놓았다.

2001 년 3월, 새로운 미디어 채널로

‘vmspace.com’을 열어 소통의 폭을 넓혔고

2008 년에는 A&HCI에 등재되어 권위 있는

국제 학술지의 반열에 올랐다.

2019 년, ‘SPACE’는 지역성과 동시대성을 바탕으로

건축과 예술의 미래에 대한 이야기를 이어간다.
