Facility Management – Emergency Plans with AARC-EVAC
Managing a facility’s emergency plans requires an effec-
tive response to all potential emergencies. There are many
different types of emergency situations, including fire or ex-
plosion, dangerous gas release, medical emergencies, natu-
ral disasters, bomb threats, threats of violence and robbery.
Most emergency warning systems in the market only ad-
dress fire and in some cases explosive gasses; many only
sound a siren and flash a warning beacon.
AARC Systems is the first company to develop an emer-
gency warning system that supports the full range of emer-
gency situations including Evacuation, Lockdown, Duress,
First Aid and more.
AARC-EVAC is a wireless linked emergency alert sys-
tem. It is a smart, simple to use, easy to install audio vis-
ual message broadcast system. Messages are totally flex-
ible, tailored to suit the customer’s requirements. The
system employs push button transmitters and a network
of wireless linked, emergency message broadcast units
with battery backup.
Each facility is free to design an AARC-EVAC alert sys-
tem utilising the range of functions that best matches the
identified and assessed risks for that facility.
For example, not every site needs a Lock Down alert;
many sites will already have a fire service with a siren, the
AARC-EVAC system can enhance this with Voice Message
evacuation instructions (multi-lingual if needed). Have a
system designed to suit your specific needs!

tralia and the systems are being manufactured in Australia
by AARC Systems, an Australian company located in Bal-
larat, Victoria. Based on an assessment of customer needs,
the developers spent three years on R&D prior to launching
AARC Systems Holding Pty Ltd and commercialising the
AARC-EVAC system. Initially, much of the R&D effort was
centred around the development of the proprietary radio
network that links
the system togeth-
er, which had to be
extremely reliable
and robust.
