to the SS Ourang
Medan, a mysterious
ship that became
shipwrecked in the
1940s in what then

as the Dutch East
Indies. Many tales and
conspiracy theories—
one including an
actual CIA operation,
even—revolve around
the ghost ship. In
“The Dark Pictures:
Man of Medan,”
players are placed
in control of five
Americans trapped
in the storied ship
and must attempt to
keep as many of them
alive while exploring
the doomed vessel.
There will be action
sequences here and
there in the form of
Quick Time Events,
but this will primarily
be a narrative-driven
horror game where
your choices will
eventually decide the

“Gears 5” introduces
new twists to the
“Gears of War” story.
Players will assume
the role of Kait Diaz
who first appeared
in “Gears of War 4”
and is, apparently,
granddaughter of

the Locust Horde
aka the original bad
guys of the series. For
gameplay, there will
be new additions like
Escape Mode, a co-op
mode where a suicide
squad must go deep
behind enemy lines.
