Sometimes you meet people in life and business
who you instantly click with and know you
would work well together and I was so pleased
when I met Sophia, from Shutterhut
photography. Such a talented women and full
of great ideas, we have found a way to work
together and will be collaborating over the
next year and I can't wait to see what we
achieve together! So now I will hand you over
to Sophia, who has given a great overview of
her fabulous company:"The Hut” is run by me, Sophia I’m Kent born and
bred, so I’m super proud to be appearing in this
magazine. My studio is based on the outskirts of the county
town, Maidstone. The studio houses ShutterHut
Photography and YOU, where I collaborate with
Skincare expert Francoise DeSmet, who I met
through a networking group. We soon
discovered we had the same passions about
empowering women and helping them become
the best versions of themselves, using our
crafts. It’s my desire to encourage woman to exist in
photographs, be it professional business images
or family portraits. I’ve been told by previous
clients that I put them at ease in front of the
camera, which certainly shows in resulting
images.There has to be a great connection between
photographer and client to create a fantastic,
natural image. Seeing people blossom in front of
my camera is truly a powerful experience to be
part of.I CAN'T WAIT FOR

family portraits, headshots, personal branding
sessions, all of which can include a professional
makeover session before the shoot. We are also
offering pamper and portrait parties, which are
great for hen parties, corporate events and
preteen/teen girl’s parties. These are proving to
be a huge hit. What could be more fun than a
facial and makeover, being made to feel like a
star and then their very own photo shoot. To top
that off, each guest goes away with a keepsake
portrait, which can be made to look like a
magazine cover and a skincare gift. It really is

in our facials and makeovers and our whole
experience is one of embracing and being happy
with the real ‘YOU’. Whatever age we are
working with because we believe this is
important in the current climate of ’social media
perfection’ and the abundance of worthlessness
that many females feel. This is more than a job,
its a passion for me because I can relate so

our fully trained experts for those of you that
just need some pampering. Once again only the
best natural, cruelly free ingredients are used.

individual photo's. I am getting much
more comfortable in a casual setting
on social media, however when it
comes to having professional photo's
taken, which will ultimately say to the
world 'this is who I am', this scares the
life out of me.
After meeting Sophia from Shutterhut
Photography, this fear is subsiding
and we have arranged for me to have
a professional photo shoot, including
a make over, which I am now really
excited about!
Sophia has a way of calming you and
reassuring you that everything will be
absolutely fine and by the end of the
shoot I will have an abundance of
confidence and happy embracing the
real me!
It's going to be an amazing experience
