DREAMLAND

MARAGTE

Dreamland Margate is a vintage family
attraction opposite the golden sands of
Margate beach, almost 100 years old but
with more life than ever. From its
humble beginnings as a pleasure garden
for Victorians escaping the London
smog, Dreamland remains one of the
most popular visitor attractions in the
South East – and it’s certainly now the
most ‘Instagrammable’.

The subject of a much-publicised
community campaign to save the
historic site, Dreamland was revitalised,
renewed and reimagined in 2015 as a
vintage amusement part that celebrates
its past and offers visitors all the
excitement of a modern festival.
Following additional investment in 2017,
the park expanded further and
continues to provide a delicious mix of
chill and thrill rides, pop-up
entertainment, art installations, eclectic
street food, and a year-round
programme of live music and events.
Plus it’s free to enter!

The picture perfect, ‘all-you-can-treat’
seaside sensation, your one stop shop
of culture, food, festival fun and
must-try rides. Granny will say 'this
takes me back' and the little ones will
squeal 'again, again!'

And the fun doesn't stop there.
Dreamland is fast becoming UK's coolest
music entertainment venue as music
lovers rave in the grand Hall By The Sea,
sway in the intimate Ballroom or jump
and prance at the outdoor Scenic Stage
in the sun-soaked park. Gorillaz and Sara
Cox have played sold out shows to
thousands of Dreamers, and the likes of
Rudimental, Melanie C, Mac DeMarco
and Happy Mondays can’t wait to hit the
coast for their fans this summer.

The amusement park is open weekends
and school holidays from spring to
autumn, while the retro diner and Roller
Disco and children’s soft play zone The
Octopus’ Garden are open all year
round. The park also hosts the award-
winning Halloween scarefest Screamland
in October and a dedicated Christmas
event.

Guests wishing to ride can either pay per
ride or purchase unlimited ride
wristbands on the day or in advance
online (25% off online). Annual
Membership starts from £50 and
includes unlimited rides all season, free
roller skating all year, exclusive food and
drink discounts and special offers on
ticketed events year round.
