WEEKLY FORECASTS
WINTER 2019–2020
The eastern Prairies should see a
persistent cold arctic f low through
most of the season while areas
farther to the west should be closer
to seasonable. Frequent storms
through Alberta and western
Saskatoon should make it a wetter
season than normal.
SUMMER 2020
Expect average to slightly above-
average temperatures this summer
with above-average precipitation.
Late July through mid-August we
should see some severe wind storms
that could bring about some light to
moderate damage, especially over
Saskatoon and Manitoba.
SPRING 2020
March and April will continue
with below-normal temperatures
well into late April, followed by
a pattern shift that will bring a
milder southwesterly f low that
will boost temperatures above
normal from mid-May to early June.
Precipitation will be below normal.
FALL 2020
September and October should
be cooler than normal. November
should be closer to average.
Precipitation levels will run above
normal toward the east and below
normal farther west.
