WINTER 2019–2020
Milder-than-normal temperatures
should be experienced from north
to south, with only the most
eastern areas experiencing near-
normal temperatures. Overall,
precipitation will be normal or
slightly below normal despite a
few periods of heavy rain along the
coast. The stormiest areas should
be along the Alberta border.SUMMER 2020
Temperatures will be slightly
above normal overall, even though
there will be a few cooler air
masses passing through in June
and early September. Precipitation
will be normal along the coast but
higher than normal inland.SPRING 2020
From north to south, spring should
see seasonable temperatures and
above-average precipitation. It
should be rather cloudy and gloomy
much of the time, except at higher
elevations. A pattern change in
late May should bring a return of
clearer skies and slightly warmer
temperatures.FALL 2020
Expect slightly below-normal
temperatures throughout the season
due to a lack of either an El Niño or
a La Niña inf luence. Precipitation
levels should be normal inland
and much above normal along the
