WEEKLY FORECASTS

SEASONAL HIGHLIGHTS

WINTER 2019–2020
Weak El Niño conditions will
keep the polar jet running straight
through this area, so expect much
colder than normal conditions
with a barrage of polar vortex air
masses. Due to the colder f low, we
should see a drier pattern, with
the lack of an active storm track.

SUMMER 2020
Temperatures will be at normal
levels overall, yet precipitation
will trend to lower-than-average
levels. The amount of sunny days
will outnumber the cloudy ones.

SPRING 2020
A cold and wet start to spring
will slowly transition to more
seasonable temperatures and
precipitation levels. Expect a
couple of late-season cold spells
that could bring a return to snowy
conditions.

FALL 2020
Precipitation levels will range
between normal and slightly below
normal. Temperatures should be
colder than normal early and then
become more seasonal later.
