TheguysthatmaketheRick
& Mortycartoonshavemade
a VR video game. Woo! The
story is super funny. You play
as a weird alien who is stuck
in a teleporting chair trying to
rescue his two dogs, which
were stolen and used as eyes
(yes, eyes!) by an even bigger,
weirder, alien. Thankfully you
have a friend, Trover, who is
on the ground and can jump,
run, solve puzzles and fight as
you explore a bunch of strange
planets together. The unique
gameplay has you moving
Trover on the ground, while you
zip between nodes in your chair
in the air. It all works
well, and with the
funny characters
and silly story,
ends up being
one of the best
games on PSVR.

PlayStationhaslongbeenthe
home of great 3D platform
adventure games. Think Crash
Bandicoot, Ratchet & Clank,
Jak & Daxter and Knack; they
all got their starts with Sony.
One forgotten platforming
gem was MediEvil, which first
came out on the PSOne back
in 1998. Outside of the classic
genre gameplay, it was known
for its quirky sense of humour.
It starred Sir Daniel Fortesque,
a knight who many mistook as
a legend, but was actually the
first solider killed in an ancient
battle. So, imagine his surprise
when he needs to come back
from the dead to fight off the
return of an evil sorcerer. We
can now confirm that a remake,
with all new visuals, modern
controls, a fresh story and
plenty of special bonuses, will
hit the PS4 on October 25.
