Al Bateen (056 525 8235).
★★

Café 302 The quintessential
modern coffee shop.
Breakfast dishes are worth
a look, salads are vibrant and
filled with top ingredients, and
we seriously recommend the
good-value steak.
O Unlicensed. Open daily
6am-10.30pm. Al Maha
Arjaan by Rotana
(02 610 6666). ★

No. FiftySeven Boutique Café
Deserving of a commendation
for its belief in shaking things
up and executing inventive

Saturday brunch as well.

Hamilton’s Gastropub
When this swanky new
hotel arrived last year we
were excited to see what it
had in store restaurant-wise.
It offered up the excellent
Turtle Bay and Si Ristorante,
but we found ourselves
returning to Hamilton’s
time and again.

Stock Burger Co. Hipsters
might be turning vegan,
but the meat eaters among
their number will massively
appreciate everything
Stock Burger Co. stands
for. Only sourcing their
beef from 100 percent
grass-fed cows, this joint
can be rightly proud of
its patties.

dishes with aplomb, this
Al Bateen venue is most

while a certain sea salt hot
chocolate has also won over
many non-believers.
