olive branch from
former frenemy Katy
Perry, Taylor Swift decid-
ed that it was time to patch
things up with Kim Kar-
dashian, too. However,
a source tells Life & St yle
that the 38-year-old re-
ality star shot down any
chance of a reconcilia-
tion! “Taylor’s team putout feelers to see if Kim
would be open to making
peace,” shares the source.
“But Kim said, ‘Absolutely
not!’ She feels like she has
nothing to gain from be-
coming friends with Tay-
lor.” The bad blood began
three years ago when the
“You Need to Calm Down”
singer, 29, slammed Kanye
West for referring to her
as “that b----” in the track“Famous.” Kim rushed
to her husband’s defense
on Twitter, calling Tay-
lor a “snake” and releas-
ing videos that seemingly
showed the pop star had
signed off on the single.
“Kim is very protective
over Kanye’s image and
cares more about defend-
ing him in this argument
than he does,” admits the
source. “Kanye couldn’tcare less, but Kim let it be
known that she refused
to play nice with Taylor
anytime soon.” The mes-
sage was received loud
and clear. “[I’m] never
going to write a thank-you
note,” Taylor told Vog ue of
the pain she went through
following their very pub-
lic falling-out. “But [I’m]
going to find positive
