sn’t it refreshing to see
a case that doesn’t look
like it belongs in a
Transformers movie!
Thermaltake’s H200 Snow
is a case that’s delightfully
modern and subtle. The
Thermaltake H200 is a
white mid-tower chassis
capable of holding a full
sized ATX board and GPU. It
comes with one 120mm fan.
It can house two dual fan
radiators, giving it
excellent cooling
capabilities. It’s also got a
tempered glass full window
and a PSU shroud to hide
ugly cables.
Building a system with
the H200 was a breeze. The
case is full of thoughtful
cable management features
with well-placed holes and
indentations meaning even
thick PSU cables can be
routed and hidden with ease.
The H200 comes with an
attractive RGB light bar
along the left front of the
case. An adjacent TT logo is
also lit. These are controlled
by a button on the top of the

case. Seven pre-set colours
can be set to breath, remain
fully lit, or they can be cycled
through. In total there are 19
modes. Of course you can turn
it off too if you prefer.
Judging a case on looks is
always subjective, with
opinions depending on the
eye of the beholder. The H200
Snow Edition should appeal to
users looking for something
easy to work with whilst
offering a fantastic subtle
look that allows the focus to
be on the build thanks to the
tempered glass window.
Thoughtful design cues, cable
management options and
affordability make the H200
anexcellentcase,and easy
torecommend.

The TT H200 looks fantastic, it’s
also great value and super easy to
work with.

ot everyone can
afford a swanky
new Wi-Fi 6 router
(or multi-node mesh
system), but not everybody
needs one. If your Wi-Fi is
letting you down and you
want to boost it in the
simplest, least-intrusive way
possible, this Mesh Extender
will turn your head.
Mercifully, unlike rivals, it
doesn’t resemble a very-bulky
plug – it actually has a power
lead. Setting up involves
powering it on and pressing
the WPS button. That’s
literally it. A few minutes
later it will have seamlessly-
extended your existing Wi-Fi
network without appearing
as a separate extender
network. If you don’t like
using WPS, then simply
connecting to it and adding
your Wi-Fi passwords
manually works fine.
We tested in our three-
storey Sydney townhouse
using a Linksys AC router,
iPad Pro and a 115/5 Telstra
cable connection. We
positioned the X6 one floor

above the router and ran our
first test next to it. On the
2.4GHz band download
speeds boosted from
15Mbps to 19Mbps. Another
floor up it managed 8.2Mbps
(up from 4.7Mbps).
Meanwhile, on the 5GHz
band, first-floor
performance boosted from
22.8Mbps to 24.5Mbps while
on the top floor it went from
11.1Mbps to 23.8Mbps.
These are rather modest
improvements and we
expect more for the money
as rival extenders cost
less-than half and mesh
systems are only slightly
dearer. That said, the ease of
useandabilitytomaintain
justonenetworknamewill
beattractivetomany.

The simplest way to extend your
Wi-Fi. But performance isn’t
spectacular.
