MULBERRY

For AW19, Johnny Coca
adds sneakers to his
collection. We chatted to
him in Paris to find out more...
“Trainers are a part of
what everyone’s wearing
and it was important for
me to design a trainer
that’s an accessible price.
I’m really focused on colour
and love red – there’s so
much in the UK, from the
bus to the phone. It’s an
iconic colour! That’s why
I put red details on the back.
I played with my pen to
make an ‘M’ on the side – it’s
Mulberry, but more abstract.
I love to bring something
personal to each piece.”
Prices from £280

ALIGHIERI

Inspired by Dante Alighieri’s
Divine Comedy, London-
based Rosh Mahtani’s
jewellery, like Dante’s
subjects, is battered,
imperfect and each
piece tells a story. This
season sees the eponymous
brand launch a line of
footwear – think gladiator-
inspired espadrille sandals
with Alighieri’s signature
battered coins attached to
grosgrain ribbons. From
jet-set winter-sun
getaways to wearing
them until the bitter end
of summer, we’re going
to be living in these.
Prices from £225,
exclusively from
net-a-porter.com

MANU ATELIER

Founded in 2014 by
Turkish sisters Beste and
Merve Manastir, Manu
Atelier embodies their
father’s reputation and
family roots in fine-leather
craftsmanship. Already
a favourite amongst
the likes of Bella Hadid,
Sarah Jessica Parker and
Eva Chen, this season sees
the accessory offering expand
into footwear. A reflection
of their home town of Istanbul,
the shoes and boots have
a Marie Antoinette vibe
with contrast stitching and
a colour palette to match
the aesthetic of the bags.
Prices from £240
