He started as a hair stylist but decided to pitch in on makeup as wellto complete the whole face himself. Degee has worked with supermodels like KateMoss, Jerry Hall, and Naomi Campbell to name a few. In this issue, he works his magicon cover star Kangana Ranaut in ‘A True Romance’,pg 126. “It’s always a delight to work with the Bazaarteam. They bring a renewed energy into each shoot.Shooing in Cannes with Kangana and Bazaar wasthe perfect combination for me.” Rasino Terhujais a Delhi-based makeup artist who has collaboratedwith fashion labels like Atsu, Urvashi Kaur, and DivyaGupta. Here, she displays her skills in the story ‘JeanPool’, pg 62. “Working with the magazine gives mea chance to meet interesting people from diferentwalks of life like India’s top chefs, social mediainluencers, young creative designers, and yogis. Thankyou Bazaar for the lovely experiences.” Colleen Hillis a fashion historian and author based in New YorkCity. In her role as curator of costume and accessoriesat The Museum at FIT (MFIT), she has organisedmore than a dozen shows, including Shoe Obsession,Fairy Tale Fashion, and Paris Refashioned, 1957-1968.In this issue, she traces the history of four iconic bagsin ‘Love Eternal’, pg 72. “I still carry a handbag I foundat an antiques store during my childhood—a metallicsilver purse covered in chain link from the 1960s.It has become my personal version of the iconic bag.”Abheet Gidwani is a Mumbai-based photographer.He enrolled at Speos: Photography School Paris in2009 to hone his craft. Gidwani has worked on campaigns for PayalKhandwala, BBLUNT, and Quantico. Here, he photographs the bondbetween sisters in fashion in ‘The Style Gene’, pg 83. “I had a wonderfulexperience with Bazaar. The chance to photograph real people andtheir relationships was a new experience. The team and I both had thesame drive and passion for this shoot.” Ira Trivedi is a Delhi-basedauthor and yoga teacher. She has written eight books including 10Minute Yoga Solution (HarperCollins) and My Book of Yoga (Scholastic).Trivedi trained at the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre andwas a part of the team leading the irst International Day of Yoga inDelhi. In 2017, she was honoured as one of BBC’s 100 most inluentialwomen in the world.
