“I began working with collage in 2016, applying the knowledge of building narratives that I usein my work as a scenographer. Only here it is in a two-dimensional space and I can createpowerful juxtapositions in a single frame. In my collage work I extensively use vintage imagery,mainly from India, to create scenes that depict current times. In this collage I have mashed upimages of pastel runway looks with old photos in largely sepia tones.
