oldkittenSmokeydisappeared.
Hewasa troublesomekitty,
alwaysoffonadventures.
Butthistime,hedidn’treturn.
I wasdistraught,knockingon
doorsandputtingpostersuparound
thecommunitywithmyhusband
Jason,43.
Buthenevercamehome.
I wasconcernedaboutourother
kitten,Tux,beingledastrayand
followingin thepawsof Smokey.

After 12 months,I’dlearntto

sprintedoverandjumpedin thecar.
