your day, you can use the concept
of high-intensity interval training
(HIIT)—a ty pe of exercise that
relies on short bursts of all-out effort to blast
calories and fat—to support your well-being,
researchers say. “Doing three to four bouts

of vigorous activities each day can have
a long-term impact on your aerobic fitness
and perhaps your blood pressure, even
if you’re generally not very active,” says
Emmanuel Stamatakis, a professor of physical
activity at the Charles Perkins Centre,
