Two prizes of $2,000 each and publica-
tion on the Winning Writers website
are given annually for a poem in any
style and a poem that either rhymes
or is written in a traditional style. Jim
DuBois and Soma Mei Sheng Frazier
will judge. Submit any number of poems
of up to 250 lines each with a $12 entry

YALE SERIES OF YOUNGER POETS
An award of publication by Yale Univer-
sity Press is given annually for a poetry
collection by a poet who has not pub-
lished a full-length book of poetry. Carl
Phillips will judge. Submit a manuscript
of 48 to 64 pages with a $25 entry fee
between October 1 and November 15.

Zoetrope: All-Story
SHORT FICTION COMPETITION
A prize of $1,000 and publication on
the Zoetrope: All-Story website is given
annually for a short story. The winner
and finalists are considered for repre-
sentation by several literary agencies,
including Aragi Inc., William Mor-
ris Endeavor, and the Wylie Agency.
Tommy Orange will judge. Using only
the online submission system, submit
a story of up to 5,000 words with a $30
