US lifestyle subscription box
FabFitFun is now available to UK
customers. Unlike monthly
beauty boxes, which usually offer
sample sizes of products, this
quarterly service contains a
selection of full-sized beauty,
fashion, wellness and fitness
products. The summer selection
aims to inspire women to lead
happier and healthier lives;
boxes can include skipping ropes
and resistance bands to get you
moving. In addition, each season
the box helps raise awareness
about different charities. This
time, the featured organisation
is Global Gift Foundation USA,
co-founded by Eva Longoria
Bastón (left), with donations
going towards the charity’s Girls
in Action Alliance, which helps
to connect women and girls to
tools and education in order to
become science, maths and
technology innovators.

Campaigner Katie Piper
(left) has a lot to celebrate
this year. As well as the tenth
anniversary of her charity
foundation, she’s also
fulfilling a dream and
opening the UK’s first live-in
burns rehabilitation unit.
“The centre has been a
goal since the very start,’’ she
says. “It’s a huge milestone
for me and everyone who
has supported the charity.”

HEALTH

Interest in the cannabis
extract cannabidiol (CBD)
has exploded over the past
few months, with supporters
saying it can help with anxiety
and depression, as well as
improving sleep and appetite.
While it comes from the
cannabis sativa plant, CBD
has no psychoactive qualities
so won’t get you high (that’s
tetrahydrocannabinol, or
THC), is legal to use and
runs no risk of addiction.
Already used in vapes,
creams and oils to help with a
variety of ailments, CBD is
