neighbours and where they’re
staples of the buzzing society
scenes. But it’s here on thelake
where they feel most at home.
Their imposing residenceis
located within a pristinenature
reserve with views of the towering
Alpine peaks and, at night,the
twinkling lights of villagesacross
the water.
“The feeling of peace thatcomes
over you as soon as you crossthe
threshold is unbelievable,”says
Monique, who has been happily
married to Thomas for 20years.
Together they are parents toLouis,
18, and Estelle, 16.

“I’m very social and I have
fun but I work hard and am
decisive,” says Monique, whose
husband Thomas is also her
business partner. “I am responsible
for the luxurious interiors of our
properties while Thomas oversees
the technical side. You have to
be on top of every little detail”7
