Sincemyfirst triptoAfrica,nearly 15
years ago, I have been hunting duikers.
Afterhuntingtheminmanydifferentways

for them. The bush duiker is a species
that doesnot respondwell tocalling,so
spotandstalkhuntingis theonlyoption.
However, spotting a creature this tiny

One of the things we Spaniards are
knownforisourloveofpork.It’sdeeply
wovenintoourculture,soforus,hunting
warthog is a blast! If the wind is right,
these animals offer some good stalk
opportunities and they are most active
duringthewarmesthoursoftheday,when
most other animals are bedded down.

Duringthe last few days of thehunt,

While fishing, we were surrounded
by hippos and crocodiles, reminding
