A
NOTHER flippin’
divorce success story!
Tarek El Moussa and
ex-wife Christina Anstead
transform problematic prop-
erties into moneymakers
on Flip or Flop. Now Tarek
takes the reins solo with two
of his own shows: Tarek’s
Flip Side and Flipping 101
With Tarek El Moussa. Star
chats with the entrepreneur.
What can you tell us
about your new digital
series, Tarek’s Flip Side?
It’ll share with viewers what
I do outside of TV — living
a normal life, spending time
with my kids and showing
only the house trans-
formations and flipping,
but our journey and how
far we’ve come. They’ve
watched us build a life
together, watched our
real-life suffering,
watched us through
our divorce, and now
they’re watching our
comebacks and new
chapters. Our viewers have
become part of our lives!
Which property on the
series has been the most
challenging so far?
The Cliff May midcentury
modern house back in 2013.
We were pretty new to high-
end design and we’d never
tackled a midcentury modern
project before. The materials
and details had to be exactly
what buyers wanted; we re-
ally had to go beyond what
we were used to.
What tips do you have for
those who want to get
into house flipping?
Knowledge and education
are very important. I’m
always sharing expert tips
on my Instagram. My new
HGTV series Flipping 101
With Tarek El Moussa will
be a great tool for novice
flippers. I’ll be mentoring
and coaching first-timers to
help them learn the ropes,
find the best property deals
and show them how to
make the most profit on their
investment.
TELEVISION
A WHOLE LOT OF
unsound — but professionally, they’re solid. The pair sets the
real estate gold standard in Carmel, Ind., where they purchase
and restore properties to resell for a pretty profit. With LeSure
overseeing construction and Klemm in charge of design, there’s
no space they can’t elevate — let’s just say that when it comes to
buildings, they have the ex factor.

and reselling business. Disick and his
focused team — including
former pop singer turned
interior designer Willa Ford
— take on various projects,
from redesigning rooms in
his celebrity friends’ lavish
homes to transforming
