6 oz. egg noodles
½ cup chopped onion
1 cup frozen peas
1 (10.75-oz.) can condensed
cream of mushroom soup
1 (5-oz.) can tuna, drained
4 oz. shredded cheddar
cheese (1 cup)
½ tsp. black pepper
¼ tsp. salt
1 cup coarsely crushed
potato chips


  1. Cook noodles according to
    package directions, stirring in onion
    the last 5 minutes and peas the last
    2 minutes; drain and set aside.

  2. Add soup, tuna, cheese, pepper,
    and salt to pot. Cook, stirring, until
    heated through and cheese
    is melted. Fold in noodle mixture,
    then top with potato chips.

2 cups whole-grain bow tie
or rotini pasta (5 oz.)
1 tsp. olive oil
2 cups sliced cremini
mushrooms
½ cup chopped onion
⅓ cup chopped celery
⅓ cup chopped red bell pepper
⅓ cup chopped carrot
1 (14.5-oz.) jar light
Alfredo sauce (1½ cups),
such as Classico
½ cup light sour cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. snipped fresh dill or
½ tsp. dried dill, plus more
for garnish
¼ tsp. black pepper
1 (5-oz.) can solid white tuna
(packed in water), drained
and broken into chunks
⅓ cup whole-wheat
panko bread crumbs
Lemon wedges (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a
    2-qt. baking dish with nonstick spray.

  2. Cook pasta according to package
    directions; drain and set aside.
    Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet
    over medium heat. Add mushrooms,
    onion, celery, bell pepper, and carrot;
    cook until vegetables are tender,
    about 8 minutes.

  3. Whisk together Alfredo sauce,
    sour cream, 2 Tbsp. Parmesan, dill,
    and black pepper in a large bowl. Stir
    in cooked pasta, vegetables, and tuna
    until combined. Transfer to prepared
    dish. In a small bowl, stir together
    panko and remaining 2 Tbsp.
    Parmesan; sprinkle over casserole.
    Lightly coat with nonstick spray.

  4. Bake, uncovered, until browned
    and bubbly, about 25 minutes.
    Garnish with fresh dill and serve with
    lemon wedges (if using.)
