The Tantoco family headed by Maritess
Tantoco-Enriquez and husband Renato
alongside Donnie and Crickette Tantoco
welcomed Angelica Visconti Ruspoli to Manila,
where she visited for the fi rst time. She is
the daughter of the late Fulvia Ferragamo
and is one of the few Ferragamos who are
working for the family company, the others
being Ferrucio as chairman and James as
vice chairman. Angelica is the luxury brand’s
International Director and Director of Retail
and Sales. Accompanying her was a frequent
visitor to the country, Christian Foddis,
Ferragamo’s CEO for Asia. Manila was one of
their stops in Southeast Asia. Maritess brought
Angelica and Christian to site visits, and then
hosted the dinner at her father’s home. She
reminisced about the time she worked as the
Ferragamo buyer, where she would spend time
with Angelica’s grandmother, the matriarch of
the family Wanda Ferragamo.
Angelica graduated from the Bocconi
University and has been working at Ferragamo
since 2002.

HANDCRAFTING FILIPINO HERITAGE
Havingprimeditselfasa catalystof sociallyconsciousentrepreneurship,ArteFinois backwithits
third annual craft fair at the Fifth at Rockwell, Powerplant Mall from 29 August to 1 September.
The fair showcases a roster of promising local brands, whose featured items refl ect ArteFino’s
working theme this year: pamana or heritage. The fair pays homage to Filipino artisans and the
pursuit of reviving the art of embroidery, weaving, and carving, among other local traditions.
ArteFino started as a passion project of fi ve women—Marimel Francisco, Maritess Pineda,
Susie Quiros, Cedie Vargas, and Armita B Rufi no. They shared one vision: to create a platform
for “conscious consumerism,” the team’s advocacy which promotes a creative community built on
regard for environmental impact and mutual cultural awareness between artisan and buyer.
ARTEFINO shares its advocacy for conscious trade
