Richard Orlinski, who recently opened a gallery dedicated to his lively,
contemporary works on New Bond Street, hot on the heels of his first
space in Paris. he said the concept is “intended to be used in all the major
art capitals”, and that “setting up and opening a gallery in London was
therefore a matter of course”. he added: “I’m sure we’ll be able to do great
things here and I’m looking forward to it.”

Kochhar hit the London
spotlight after winning
a Michelin star at

launched his acclaimed
restaurant Benares in

category include Alan Trundley,
who joined Grosvenor House in
1969 aged 18 and has worked
there ever since. The shift
engineer, who is known for his
work ethic, expert knowledge
and good humour, is the hotel’s
longest serving staff member.
After his recovery from
lymphoma cancer in 2016,
inspirational Alan returned to
work as vigorous as ever, and
has used his experience to help
other cancer patients through
difficult times.
He has taken care of hotel guests
including Muhammad Ali, Dustin
Hoffman and Sean Connery, and
even played golf with Dame Vera
Lynn in her suite. He regularly
participates in the hotel’s
community activities, including a
recent litter pick in Mayfair.
