Thisyear theItalian marqueSWMwascelebrated
and Bernie Schreiber–winnerofthe 1982 SSDTon
an SWM–was invited to be guestofhonour.Itwas
hopedFrenchman Gilles Burgat, alsoan SSDTwinner
on an SWM,would bejoining Bernie, but an incident
in the2019 SSDTprevented Gillesfromattending.
TheHighland ClassicTwo Dayhas gained an
excellentreputation forbeingafriendlyevent, this is
something theclub hasworked hardtomaintainand
thei refforts arerewardedby therapidity ofthe entry
fillin gupeachyear.
Theclubfollo wa‘firstcomefirst s erved’policy
for entries whichseemsthe fairestway of
doing things.
The Alvie Estatewelcomesustrials ridersevery
June,sometimesthe weather isfine,sometimesit’s
not, thisyear despite the forecastthe weather played
fair and the trialwas enjoyedbyall riders... seeyou
