METHOD
1 Place Tim Holtz doily stencil in diagonally opposite corners
of sturdy card 135mm x 90mm, apply texture paste as
shown and let it dry.
2 Apply blue acrylic paint over the panel with a sponge, then
wipe it off the textured areas with a wet cloth.
3 Stamp Stampavie Suzi Blu Fly Free on watercolour paper
and colour the head and arms with Prismacolor pencils.
Fussy-cut it out and set it to one side.
4 Spray white card with Dylusions pure sunshine to achieve a
solid colour. Then, over a scrap piece of paper, spray
Dylusions tangerine dream directly onto the doily stencil, fl ip
it over and ‘stamp’ it on the yellow piece.
5 Stamp Fly Free over this, then cut the dress portion out and
affi x it to the previous image.
6 Stamp Fly Free once more, colour the dress edge strip with
tangerine dreams, cut it out and affi x it to the original along
with white pompom trim. Add this to the card with
mounting tape.
7 Spray tangerine dreams on a feather wing embellishment,
let it dry, then secure it.
8 Print or stamp a sentiment of your choice on white card, trim
the words, then back them on chipboard, sponge the edges
with Distress Ink frayed burlap and affi x them as shown.
9 Layer the work on black card 145mm x 100mm and folded
white card 150mm x 210mm.You don’t have to use
the whole stencil – try
placing it so it runs off
a corner or edge.anks

METHOD
1 Spray Memory Box 88515 Rhapsody stencil on white card four times
with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist pomegranate and gold. Make
each panel a little darker than the previous one and let them dry.
2 Fold white card 300mm x 105mm in half and affi x the darkest stencil
panel to the bottom with double-sided tape.
3 Die-cut the remaining panels with My Favorite Things Jumbo Scallop
Border six times and secure these in place, working darkest to
lightest from the bottom up, using double-sided tape at the tops and
mounting tape to lift the scallops.
4 Spray white card 35mm x 105mm with gold mist, then use a
paintbrush to even out the colour and let it dry.
5 Stamp Hero Arts CL574 Say it All sentiment at the centre bottom of
this panel with black ink and tape it to the top of the card.
6 Wrap gold twine around the card front, make a few loops
and glue a button to the right-hand side.To create the graduated effect: apply several
coats for intense colour and one coat for a
medium colour. For a light colour, spray while
moving the bottle quickly across the card, so
only a small amount of colour hits it.TIPTIP
