A deviation from a direct course may at

fi rst seem inconvenient, but often we get to

experience something new and different that we

wouldn’t have experienced without the initial

roadblock. Creative detours are something we

should look forward to and embrace, and the

simple partial-seam technique found in this

pattern is a great way to start.
