e’ve all played the
bartering game
with dry shampoo
and tried to eke
out time between
hair washes. But
throw in a gym class and a sweaty
commute and frizz can be even
more of an issue than greasy roots
for the thick-haired among us – in
an Aussie survey, a whopping 95% of
British women with thick hair cited
frizz as a key concern. Want proof
that frizz needn’t get in the way of a
busy day? Here’s a good hair day in
the life of fitness lover Roz Purcell...

8am ‘As my hair’s so thick, I only
wash it twice a week. I smooth down
my frizzy “side bits” while wet,’ says
Roz. Familiar with the frizz halo?
A drop of Aussie Calm The Frizz
Miracle Oil, infused with hemp seed
extract, will turn hair to silk, stat.

12pm Workout time. ‘To avoid
sweat-induced frizzing, I’ll put my
hair into a French plait to keep it
off my face while training,’ she
says. Tip: use a mixed bristle brush
to seal the cuticle for a sleek finish.

3pm Afternoon meetings call for
a no-fuss style to allow maximum
concentration. ‘My go-to hairstyle
for anything work-related is a
simple bun,’ says Roz. Dealing
with pesky flyaways? Pop a pack
of kirby grips in your bag to tame
any strays on-the-go.

7pm ‘If it’s a hair washing night,
it’s Netflix and a hair mask,’ says
Roz. Need a speedier alternative?
Moisturising hemp seed oil, found
in Aussie’s 3 Minute Miracle Calm
The Frizz Deep Treatment, will
