Ferrari’s twin-turbo V8 mounts longways behind the aluminium chassis tub, driving
the rear axle through a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox and a torque-vectoring
e-Diff. Suspension is via double wishbones up front and multi-links at the rear.
Weight was distributed 41:59 on MIRA’s weighbridge, exactly as it was in the
488 GTB; 458 Speciale tested in 2014 was 42:58.
