Amur
Sustainability is at the core of New York’s Amur, whose name
is an acronym for A Mindful Use of Resources. Founded by
Ronny Kobo and Cynthia Rowley alum Sofi a Shannon, the
label uses organic and reclaimed fi bres in pieces designed
to withstand the test of time. Bold colours and feminine
lines defi ne the collections’ silhouettes, with fall/winter
2019 taking inspiration from faded wallpaper prints and
characters from classic novels—such as Miss Havisham in
Great Expectations—with evening gowns in asymmetrical
shapes, and day dresses with raw hems and bright patterns
that exude vintage charm.

Channel your inner bohemian
princess by pairing a tartan

mix in a futuristic pair of
sunglasses to modernise the
look, lest you be mistaken for
a time-traveller visiting from
the ’60s.
