Amateur and professional
filmmakers from across defence have until
December 6 to submit work to the Army Film
and Photographic Competition 2019.
There are two video categories – open and
documentary/news – and entries will be judged
on camera craft, sound and editing, as well as
the production as a whole.

count
A good video will grab
the viewers’ attention
from the very first frame.
Don’t open it with a load
of introduction titles –
people will keep scrolling.
Use your best clip first
Stay
low,
move
fast
Get stuck into
the action. If your
subject is on
their belt buckle,
so should you be
