The successful candidate will provide a high-quality level of
administrative support to the Principal,supporting them, and
the Vice Principals, in the efficient running of the school. A
high degree of confidentiality, and flexibility, is a requirement
of the role, in keeping with the rhythms of day to day life in
a busy educational establishment.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Cover &
Attendance Administrator to take responsibility for
managing and organising cover for absent staff
both teaching and non-teaching - included in this
is the line management of cover supervisors. In
addition this role involves overseeing the schools
attendance procedures ensuring that registers
are accurately maintained and trends monitored,
and the organisation and administration of
internal examinations.
This person will work under the direction of the
Deputy Headteacher. Ideally suited to this role
would be someone with excellent communication
skills and a highly organised approach.
The appointed person will manage the staff cover
system to ensure continuity in teaching and learning


  • knowledge of SIMS would be helpful. Effective
    liaison with parents and students to improve
    attendance and punctuality is key to this role.
