a talented and dynamic Part time Teacher of
English to work within our hugely successful
English Department. We have an excellent
Catholic Ethos with a strong leadership team.
The Part time Teacher of English position is
available from September 2019. The ability to
teach across all key stages 3, 4 and 5 will be an
advantage. Students follow the AQA syllabus at
GCSE and at A level. The English department
achieves outstanding results at Key Stage 3,
GCSE and A level and all classes are taught in
mixed ability groups from Year 7 onwards.

This post would be suitable for experienced
teachers who feel they can make a significant
and positive contribution to the English
department and the school as a whole.

We are seeking a committed, loyal and enthusiastic
teacher of English to join our very strong and high
achieving English department. The department
consists of 11 members of staff who all teach
across the ability and age range. 69% of students
gained Grade 4 and above in English for the 2018
examinations.

Ernest Bevin College is an 11-19 boys’ school with
1250 on roll. We have a mixed sixth form of 370
students based in state of the art buildings with good
transport links.

We are an Elite Sports College competing at national
