BRONZE AGE
Fact: a burnished bronze face is never
subtle. ‘No matter how sheer, it’s always
a statement, so run with it,’ says Kane.
‘Choose two or three shades that work
together. The lightest bronze should have
a shimmery texture. Use it to highlight
areas you want to bring forward – like your
cheekbones and Cupid’s bow. Sweep the
medium shade down the nose, temples
and chin, and the darkest in the hollows
of the cheeks and across the forehead.’
Finish by creating strong couture brows
using short, sharp strokes with a wet-look
chocolate pencil, such as the Shiseido
Brow Ink Trio in Deep Brown, £22. For
eyes that last, dab a primer, such as Laura
Mercier Eye Basics, £21, from lashes to
brows. Then use a blending brush to press
metallic shadow on top. We love the
