women doing incredible things. It goes
without saying that these women need
celebrating in person, too, so we threw
an event to announce the list IRL at
London’s Spiritland Royal Festival Hall,
in partnership with Boss Watches.
From micro-influencers
using their followings to make
political change to Instagram
pioneers opening up new
conversations in mental health
and body positivity, we
championed our collaborations- past, present and future –
with these remarkable women.
The night saw our Editor in
Chief, Trish Halpin, pay tribute to our
chosen women, followed by a glittering
party. As DJ Miche hit the decks, our
#marieclaireverified guests – including AJ
Odudu, Munroe Bergdorf and Adrienne
LDN (who, along with Trish, was wearing
Hugo Boss) – hit the dance floor.
Guests sipped drinks including Whitley
Neill gin with Lamb & Watt tonic water,
Sadler’s ales, Campo Viejo,
Prosecco DOC and Caleño
(a non-alcoholic spirit), and
tucked into tasty dishes. At
the end of the night, our
influencers headed home
with their own special
August edition of Marie
Claire, featuring themselves
as the cover stars.
